Approach

Lindsey’s approach is shaped by the breadth of her training and experience. After your initial consultation, she will create a bespoke therapy package tailored to your needs, drawing on some or all of the following:

Occupational Therapy – Using the Model of Human Occupation to explore meaningful activity, purpose, and problem-solving.

Systemic Therapy – Examining the systems and relationships in your life, and their impact on your mental wellbeing. Lindsey often incorporates a Solution-Focused Therapy approach, helping you identify strengths, explore solutions, and build resilience.

5 Steps to Mental Wellbeing – Drawing on the NHS and WHO’s evidence-based framework to support positive mental health.

Services

Lindsey provides a safe, nurturing space where you can explore emotions, untangle challenges, and work towards a healthier, more connected life.

Her areas of expertise include:

Depression Awareness

Understanding depression is the first step towards managing it. Lindsey helps you recognise the signs, explore the underlying causes, and develop practical strategies to reduce its impact on your daily life. Together, you’ll work towards restoring energy, motivation, and a sense of hope.

Anxiety Management

Anxiety can feel overwhelming, but it is manageable with the right tools. Lindsey works with you to identify triggers, understand your body’s stress responses, and build techniques—such as breathing, grounding, and thought-reframing—to help you regain calm and control.

Managing Your Mental Wellbeing

Your mental wellbeing is influenced by many factors, from lifestyle and relationships to work and self-care. Lindsey offers guidance to help you make positive changes, create balance, and maintain good mental health, even during challenging times.

Emotional Resilience

Life can throw unexpected challenges your way. Emotional resilience is your ability to adapt and recover. Lindsey supports you in building inner strength, improving your coping skills, and learning how to respond to difficulties with greater confidence and stability.
